Day 7 is kept free for visits to family villages. For many travelers it's the part of the trip they remember most.

  • Send us your ancestors' names, dates and villages before the trip
  • We point you to the parish registers and regional archives that cover those places
  • We help arrange drivers, and an interpreter for travelers who don't speak Czech
  • The route can shift toward Bohemia or Moravia depending on where your families came from

Questions

Before you ask

Can we change the itinerary?

Yes. The sample is a starting point. We can add days, swap towns, or spend more time in the region your families came from.

Is airfare included?

It can be. We can quote the tour with flights from your US city, or land-only if travelers book their own flights.

How do you help with family research?

Send us the names, dates and places you know. We'll point you to the right parish registers and regional archives and help arrange a driver for the ancestral village day.

Do you speak Czech?

Yes. A Czech-speaking member of our team handles heritage tour requests, and we have a Czech version of this page.

How big does the group need to be?

A private departure usually makes sense from about 15 to 20 travelers. Smaller groups can join a scheduled departure.
